Description

These crack burgers deliver juicy ground chuck blended with smoky diced smoked beef, topped with melted cheddar, and seasoned with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, onion, salt, and pepper. Perfect for summer grilling, the patties stay moist and flavorful on the grill, and the soft buns make every bite satisfying. Quick to assemble, these burgers serve four and are ideal for backyard parties, game day, or any casual feast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup smoked beef, diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chuck, diced smoked beef, finely chopped onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until evenly distributed.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a ¾‑inch thick patty, making a small indentation in the center.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium‑high (375‑400°F). Grill the patties for 5‑7 minutes on the first side without pressing them.
  4. Flip the patties, grill another 5‑7 minutes, adding shredded cheddar during the final minute. Close the lid briefly to melt the cheese.
  5. Optional: Toast the buns cut side down on the grill for 30‑45 seconds.
  6. Assemble the burgers with buns and desired toppings, then let rest a couple of minutes before serving.
