  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium‑high heat. Add diced potatoes, season with salt, and cook 8‑10 minutes until golden.,Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté 3‑4 minutes until softened.,Push vegetables aside, add ground beef, season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper; brown 5‑6 minutes.,Stir in tomato sauce and beef broth, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15‑20 minutes until potatoes are tender.,Uncover, adjust seasoning, sprinkle cheese if using, cover for 2‑3 minutes to melt cheese.,Remove from heat, let rest 2 minutes.,Serve hot, optionally garnished with parsley, alongside a green salad or crusty bread.
