  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until fully browned, about 5‑7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set the beef aside.
  2. Wipe the skillet clean, return to medium heat, and add the butter or oil, coating the pan evenly.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet. Spread a generous spoonful of refried beans, add half of the cooked beef, and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
